Our Commitment to You & Your Pets
The Critter Lady LLC agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, kind, and trustworthy manner. The client waives any claims made against The Critter Lady LLC, and its employees during the pet-sitting assignment except for incidences resulting from the negligence of the Pet sitter. In this instance, The Critter Lady LLC must be notified straight away. The Critter Lady LLC will abide by the Pet Industry standards and regulations at all times to ensure your pet is looked after to the highest possible standards.
The Critter Lady LLC accepts no responsibility for the security of the premises or loss of personal property if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement. Please inform the pet sitter of any other person with access to your home.
During all assignments, Pet sitting will only be carried out by The Critter Lady LLC owner or employees unless previously arranged with the client. The Critter Lady LLC will not be held liable for any theft or damage to the client's property or any injury to your pets if anyone else has access to the property unless negligence by the pet sitter can be proven. The Critter Lady LLC will not let any dog off his/her lead unless the owner has given written consent in the introduction forms.
If unforeseen circumstances occur when The Critter Lady LLC cannot attend to your pet's needs due to illness etc, you will be notified straight away and a refund for the missed service will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days, with receipt of these funds then depending on your financial institution’s policies. The Critter Lady LLC will not be held responsible for any damage sustained by a pet becoming loose and escaping due to a faulty lead/collar or a collar that is not suitably fitted.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GRETCHEN!!!! We have not had a vacation in over 15 years as we have always had multiple dogs. Last year we left our Great Pyrenees and our Newfoundland in Gretchen’s care at our home. The “boys” loved Gretchen from the first time they met which was before our trip. Gretchen made sure she had all instructions and emergency phone numbers prior. She took such good care of our babies and sent me pictures along the week. She even brushed and groomed them! I am sad she is no longer in NH but happy she is following her dreams in CA. I promise you if you use Gretchen to house sit/pet sit you won’t regret it.

My husband and I had an amazing experience having Gretchen take care of our two cats while we were away. We were very impressed with the attention to detail, the consistent thorough communication, and the level of care she provided for our pets. This was especially crucial for us because one of our cats recently started having epileptic seizures and requires seizure monitoring and medication twice a day, in addition to other special needs. During the meet and greet, Gretchen was incredibly thorough, attentive, and caring, and our kitties took to her right away. She left nothing up to chance in preparation for us leaving, making sure she knew every necessary detail to best care for our boys. She is very obviously an animal lover, who will do right by your babies. While we were away, we received detailed check-ins every single visit, that covered our kitties’ behavior, appetite, litterbox usage, etc., complete with cute photos. I have never had more peace of mind while being away from our cats! I highly recommend Gretchen’s services if you’re looking for the best care for your pets!

We have been using Gretchen’s services for a few years now. We are beyond blessed to have found such loving and caring sitter for our 2 girls ( cats). Gretchen has proven to be the most loving, caring and compassionate sitter that we have ever had. Once we found Gretchen’s services we never even thought about switching to another sitter ever again . She is also extremely intelligent, wise, and detail oriented. She cares for our girls as if they are her own cats and always sends us amazing, thorough reports of how our cats are doing when we are away. Even though she is not a vet, she can tell if a cat isn’t feeling well & if it must be taken to the vet and that is another reason why we trust her so much as we are away. We can confidently say that Gretchen is the best and her services are exceptional.
